Founded by Hayley, a dedicated professional with over a decade of experience in Special Education, Sendsory® was created to address a critical gap in support for children awaiting specialist placement. Hayley recognised that these children need a different approach to traditional education to truly thrive, as they were missing out on essential development in areas such as social skills, emotional wellbeing, physical development and life skills.

At Sendsory®, our approach is founded on understanding and supporting the emotional wellbeing of every child. We are actively working towards becoming a fully trauma-informed alternative provision, ensuring that every aspect of our provision is shaped by compassion, safety and trust. Central to our approach are our bespoke therapeutic curriculums, Grow to blossom and Thrive to flourish, together with Roots to Bloom; our Resilience Tracker & Play to Connect; our play-based speech programme.
Each is designed to identify and meet the individual needs of every child. Through consistent, nurturing relationships and a strong emphasis on emotional regulation and resilience, we create an environment where children feel secure, valued and empowered to thrive.
